1.Moisture barrier bags
❊Method: The moisture sensitive components are packed in sealed moisture barrier bags, with desiccants and humidity indicator car (HIC) inside, users identify the ambient humidity in the sealed packages by checking the color change of the dots on the car.
❊Disadvantage: Moisture barrier bags + humidity indicator cars + desiccants + manual work = consumables, leakage risk, high cost.

2.Nitrogen cabinets

What is the difference between humidity control cabinets and nitrogen cabinets?

1.Working principle
Humidity control cabinets use physical humidity absorbing, the core part is dry unit, the dry unit automatically adjusts the humidity absorbing and exhausting circulation processes, there are different RH ranges for your selection, such as 20-60%RH/10-20%RH/<10%RH/<5%RH/<3%RH, it depends on your specific demands.

Humidity control cabinets use N2 gas purge, the N2 gas filled in push the interior air outside, then the RH lower to the setting value, there is a N2 flow-meter, magnetic valve and N2 module equipped on the nitrogen cabinet for control purpose, the humidity is 1-60%RH adjustable, but it needs continuous N2 supply, the cost is high.

2.Dehumidifying speed
The nitrogen cabinets dehumidifying speed are faster than the humidity control cabinets, when the N2 rush into the cabinet, the interior RH can reach 1%RH within several minutes, however, the electronic dry cabinet have to experience RH absorbing and exhausting processes, it is slower, normally within 10-30 minutes, depending on specific RH range.
