The difference between high and low temperature test chamber and constant temperature and humidity chamber, common faults

2024-10-11

There are many types of equipment in the environmental testing equipment industry. High and low temperature test chamber and constant temperature and humidity test chamber are two different equipment for environmental testing. In terms of appearance, they have no big difference, but the tests they perform are very different. What is the difference between constant temperature and humidity test chamber and high and low temperature test chamber? Now let's make a brief explanation of the difference between the two equipment.

First of all, you need to figure out what your "high and low temperature alternating test chamber" means.

1. Only high and low temperature without humidity, directly called high and low temperature chamber, can also be called "high and low temperature alternating test chamber".

2. To do high and low temperature, and at the same time to do humidity, for circulation, we call it high and low temperature humidity alternating test chamber, constant temperature and humidity chamber, etc.

General constant temperature and humidity chambers can do "humidity and heat alternating test", but it depends on the alternating test conditions you do. If you want to buy equipment, you should inform the supplier of your requirements before you buy the equipment so that the equipment can be designed and debugged according to your requirements. Of course, the manufacturer's price will be different according to the conditions you propose.

Constant temperature and humidity chamber: generally refers to the temperature of 15 degrees ~ 85 degrees, and the humidity can be 20% ~ 98% R.H. Of course, lower humidity can be made according to requirements. We call it a low temperature and low humidity test chamber.

High and low temperature and humidity alternating test chamber: the temperature will generally reach -20 degrees or lower, and humidity can be made (only limited to 15 ~ 85 degrees). The main purpose of the humidity and heat alternating test is: in a certain period of time, the temperature remains unchanged and the humidity is tested at the rate of change you set, or vice versa. Some tests require that the temperature and humidity change at the same time at the set rate.

1. Please check the position of the test box to see if it is more than 30 cm away from the wall. If it is not placed as required, please adjust the position, because too close distance will cause poor heat dissipation and increase the operating current of the compressor, causing over-protection problems.

2. Check whether the box is sealed all around. Once sealed, it will cause poor heat dissipation, resulting in a sharp increase in ambient temperature and current increase, so be sure to keep good ventilation.

3. After all the above problems are solved, please press the reset button of the overcurrent protector (heat-accumulating relay) under the three electromagnetic switches in the machine room. If you hear a click, the high and low temperature box represents that the compressor controlled by it is overloaded, but it is also reset at this time. At this time, please turn the current setting value to 1.25 times the rated current of the compressor.

This type of inspection is a routine inspection without determining the problem. If we determine the problem as the above customer reported, we need to analyze it one by one, first about the problem of the compressor not cooling.

First, check whether the refrigeration compressor is still working. If it is working normally, it means that there is no problem with the electrical system. If the exhaust and suction pressures of the low-temperature compressors of the two refrigeration units are lower than normal, and the suction pressure is in a vacuum state, it means that the refrigerant is insufficient. In addition, if it is found that the exhaust pipe temperature is not high and the suction pipe temperature is not low, it also means that the refrigerant is insufficient and you can just add refrigerant.
